Affiliation

WSCVYS promotes the West Sussex Affiliation Scheme and offers these specialised services to the organisations we work with:

• Advice and guidance around legal requirements (Safeguarding, Common Assessment Framework, Child Protection)
• Involving children and young people in developing their services and having an active say in decision-making through using the Hear by Right standards (NYA)
  
• Guidance and assistance on delivering accredited activities (OCN, AQA and NVQs)
• Measuring soft outcomes and ‘turning anecdotal into evidence’ 
  
• Policy development

Why Affiliate?

Affiliation gives access to larger organisational resources, expertise, networks and therefore a greater voice in decision making and developing services for young people. The scheme helps develop voluntary sector infrastructure offering access to Quality Assurance, Training, Advice & Support, Developing your Organisation, Funding, Knowledge, Promotion and Representation.

WSCVYS offers wider services through the West Sussex Affiliation Scheme giving members access to West Sussex Youth Service.
