Exciting Opportunity For Young People to Help Allocate Big Lottery Cash
The
Big Lottery Funding (BIG) is responsible for distributing half of the
money that the National Lottery raises for good causes. BIG gives some
of this money to projects that work with young people, in particular
through our Young People's Fund.
Young
People's Fund 2 Local Grants is our latest round of funds and will
offer up to £38 million pounds to improve the lives of young people all
over England. Our focus is on changing the lives of young people by
putting them in charge of projects and services.
BIG
is looking for young people to join their decision-making committee for
the programme. The committee will make some tough decisions about which
projects should receive funds. It's difficult – but it's rewarding!
You'll be trained and work in a team with experienced grant-makers.
