The WSCVYS & WSCC Youth Service Partnership Site at the South of England Show at Ardingly in June was the best ever! With over 300 children and young people taking part over three days this was a fabulous opportunity for showcasing projects including dance, gymnastics, music, sports, trampolining and all sorts of crafts and workshops. We even had a 'youth club' to help demonstrate provision in the county. View our report here.

SURVEY for VCS delivering Parenting and Family Support
on commissioning and workforce development needs
The Voluntary and Community Sector historically have
provided a wide range of essential parenting support services often reaching
the parts of the community that statutory services traditionally found hard to
reach.
Since 2006 the parenting sector has undergone radical
reform and received some substantial investment. This project aims to develop
an overview of some of the needs and challenges facing the sustainability of
the VCS parenting sector and within this to focus specifically on the issues
relating to commissioning and workforce development.
The survey
will take approximately ten minutes to complete and each organisation
participating will receive a copy of the final report and be entered into a
prize draw - 1st £ 200 2nd £100 and 3rd £50.
Please click on the link in the title of this article - we look
forward to hearing from you.
