Of particular note, there's plenty of training around for the sector - look at the accredited training on offer through the Progress project - Hanna is very keen to sign people up so do 

contact her asap.

 

We are looking forward to running our Big Society Saturday morning sessions - see just below, and there are plenty of events throughout the Spring, throughout the county - and beyond...

Free rapping/Urban creative sessions for Sussex Clubs for Young People affiliated groups throughout East and West Sussex and Brighton & Hove.

Sussex Clubs for Young People YOUNG LEADERS TRAINING PROGRAMME      11-13 March, Lodge Hill Centre for ages 15-19 who are already involved in the running of their club or youth project, or have had some leadership experience.

FUNDING

The National Lottery Awards are an annual search to find the UK's favourite Lottery-funded projects. There's the chance for your project to feature at a special Awards event broadcast across the UK on BBC One, and there is also a £2,000 cash prize to spend on your project if you win.      
Application deadline is 5pm on Friday 18 February 
Awards for All offers grants of between £300 and £10,000 for projects that improve communities and the lives of people in them.  

Horsham Children Can Do is a grants scheme which gives money to groups of children aged 5-13 who want to do something positive in their community. Grants of up to £1,500 are availiable. If interested, please follow this link
