Aiming High for Disabled Children in West Sussex
Transforming short breaks provision for disabled children across the County
Information and Consultation event for stakeholders 21st April 2009; Chichester College
Aiming High for Disabled Children (AHDC) is the Government’s transformation programme for disabled children’s services in England. The vision is for all families with severely disabled children to have the support they need to live ordinary family lives, as a matter of course.
In West Sussex we want to significantly increase the range and number of short breaks available providing opportunities for disabled children and young people to experience and enjoy new relationships, experiences and positive activities.
