National Children’s Bureau (NCB) has awarded us a grant to assess VCS engagement in the planning, strategy, delivery and evaluation of services for children, young people and their families. We have overall agreement across all sectors – local authorities, health, commissioners and the VCS – to undertake the process with our NCB facilitator using a joint approach.

To keep the consultation real our focus is Children and Young People’s Plan – CYPP – 2010. This means that a nationally agreed protocol linked to a well renowned national agency, NCB, acts as a framework for good Children’s Trust VCS practice and how that can be embedded in the arrangements.
